The High Cost Of Oil: 100+ Dead Penguins

Today's SF Chronicle had a sad story about the death of more than 100 oil-covered penguins off the coast of Argentina. Another 110+ penguins are being treated for their injuries.

Fill 'er up...with the death of more innocents. A horrible way to die...and yet the oligarchy refuses to require vehicle fuel standards with teeth, refuses to promote safe alternative energy sources, and breathes not a word about going through the U.S. Patent Office for suppressed technologies that would put the brakes on this spiral into war without end.
