A Constitutional Right To Beat?

Good Grief. From The Salina [Kansas] Journal's anonymous Extension 333 Line, October 10, 2006, this gem:

"The issue is that I spanked my child. My child ended up going to school and the school ended up calling SRS on me, and they were saying that even if you do spank your child and it leaves a little bit of a mark on their bottom that you can be charged with battery. I think it's very unfair that a person cannot spank their child without being threated with a court case on battery."
