AP Learns Gitmo Guards Brag of Beatings

Guards at Guantanamo Bay bragged about beating detainees and described it as common practice, a Marine sergeant said in a sworn statement obtained by The Associated Press.

America used to believe this was the conduct of dictatorships, of totalitarian governments, of brutal police states.

That's still the case, whatever the current Regime that occupies Washington may think.

That's also still the case, whatever most of the "leadership" in U.S. churches may think.

Why are the churches so silent?

Money. It's all about the money.

Churches are fearful that if they object to torture and other atrocities, their older members will stop donating money, and will leave part or all of their Estates to others.

They are afraid that if they offend Bu$h and his band of terrorists, that they will cut off the flow of government funds to churches, and send the IRS after them.

Jesus threw the moneychangers out of the temple.

And rest assured, if Jesus returns to this plane of existence, He will throw most of the Reverends, Priests, Pastors, and Ministers, out of the pseudo-churches and into the street gutters where they belong.
