After Iraq Veto, Democrats Back Down on Demands
The Washington Post is reporting the Democratic leadership is now backing down and has dropped their demand for including a timeline to bring troops home from Iraq.
Rep. Jerry Lewis: "I say to my colleagues on the other side of the aisle- you have made your point. You've had your dog and pony show. You posed for political holy pictures on TV. Now, what is your plan to support the troops? It is time to put the posturing and political stunts aside and do what is in the best interest of our troops."

Uh, the plan is to put even more troops in harm's way in order to protect the profits of the multinational oil cartel? Destroy the village in order to save it, kill the troops in order to protect them. Same psychotic mindset.
