Federal health officials say they will detain imports of some Chinese farmed seafood until it is shown to be free of illegal antibiotics.

"Illegal antibiotics".

Dangerous drugs that do not have support from the pharmaceutical drug cartel because the patents have expired? Or because a non-member of the pharmaceutical drug cartel, say China, has the patent?

Are these antibiotics that raise havoc by contributing to antibiotic resistance in some way that is different than "legal" antibiotics that raise havoc by contributing to antibiotic resistance?

Shouldn't the question be whether a substance is safe rather than one of the political and economic power of its supporters?
