Courthouse Symbolism

While running an errand to downtown Eureka California, I was in the neighborhood of the Humboldt County Courthouse. They were doing an anthrax drill. Oh yes, the brown-skinned devils going to strike at any moment. And it helps to keep up the paranoia levels of the locals so they are more placid as the local police state grows in its intensity.

There was a horrible stench in the air, manure on the level one would expect near a cattle feedlot. Whether this was part of the exercise is unknown.

It was all I could do to resist the temptation to yell out:

"So this is what Humboldt County Just-Us smells like".
