U.S. Detained 283,000 Immigrants in 2006

New government statistics show the number of immigrants detained in the United States has nearly tripled since 2001. Last year Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained 283,000 people or about 775 a day.

Of course, the source of the information is the Bu$h Regime. "That depends on what your definition of 'immigrant' is"? So maybe a few loudmouth patriotic bloggers--you know, those rabble rousers who actually bought the story of America--got hauled off in the middle of the night and sent to dark places unknown...who'd know the difference? It's not like we have much of a mainstream investigative news force living up to the ideals of the First Amendment to check out the facts, just DN swallowing drivel from the Fourth Reich...
