The Bay Area's New "Laboratory"

There was an article in today’s SF Chronicle extolling how wonderful it is that Lawrence Berkeley "Laboratory" is building a big new "research facility" in Richmond.
Now if this was a laboratory with mad scientists, beakers, smoke, potions, computer simulations, that would be one thing.
But it's not.
Not a word in the SF Chronicle's article about what goes on in that "laboratory".
Well here's a hint:
Our ability to extrapolate cancer risks from animal experiments conducted at high doses to humans, typically exposed to doses that are orders of magnitude lower..."
And when you look at their form, isn't it interesting how the "scientist" fills in the blank on what type of animal (s)he will poison and slowly torture?
Will the SF Chronicle be likewise orgasmic if human extermination facilities are opened up there? That too could easily produce, "more than 800 jobs, attract spin-off enterprises and generate millions of dollar in tax revenue".And hey SF Chronicle--it's all about the money, right?Immoral subhuman bastards. How about doing some "experiments" on SF Chronicle editors, reporters, and stockholders? And the agents/employees of that "laboratory"?
