Organized Crime And Chump Change

U.S. Pledges to Pay Family of Those Killed in Botched Kabul Drone Strike

The Pentagon offered unspecified amounts to relatives of the 10 civilians who died in Aug. 29 attack and agreed to help relocate those who want to move to the U.S.

Illustrating once again that organized crime just pays a little chump change for its horrific actions. Pharmaceutical Companies even get their own special apologist, er “Court”, because their carnage is so immense and widespread.

Those not part of the crime family might actually face consequences such as incarceration.

From the article: "Dr. Kahl noted that the strike was a tragic mistake..."

The jails and prisons of America are filled with people who made "tragic mistakes", who are never offered the chance to buy their way out of responsibility.

And how cheap is life for organized crime? Quite cheap indeed. From the article:

"Condolence payments for deaths caused by the American military have varied widely in recent years. In fiscal 2019, for instance, the Pentagon offered 71 such payments--ranging from $131 to $35,000--in Afghanistan and Iraq."
