Purely Hypothetical Question

Think back to all of the countries that the United States attacked because they supposedly posed a threat to the US, and/or were threatened by malevolent internal or external forces. How many countries and militias the US provided arms to based on such claims.

NONE of those countries had a border with the US of over 5,000 miles.

Imagine what should happen if a country sharing a 5,000+ mile border with the US were taken over by a tin horn dictator.

Might that not pose a Real And Present Danger to the United States Of America?

Purely hypothetical question, of course.
