California's Workers Comp Screwing

Message left on The Salina [Kansas] Journal's Extension 333 Line, published June 13, 2006:

"I think it's hilarious that the Republicans tried to take the little guy's workman's comp away, and the Democratic governor vetoed it. And then the Republicans wonder why everyone wants to go with the Democrats. Ha, ha, ha. Duh. Get a clue."

Here in California, HerrGoobernator proposed drastic changes to the Workers Compensation law that screwed the working class royally, benefiting primarily large employers, and the "Democrats" obliviously voted for those changes. The surprising thing here is, why anyone with a heart and a clue has any use for either party. The lesser of evils is still evil. The question becomes, is the difference in degrees of evil so significant that it warrants going with one of the two major party candidates in the vote for a particular office?
