Cholesterol: An Illustration Of Hard-Core Drug Pushing

“You need medication
Come in and see me”

--Written comment on a form letter sent to a patient by a pharmaceutical company sales representative masquerading as a “doctor”, where the cholesterol numbers were modestly elevated—BUT THAT'S IF you believe BigPharma’s propaganda—For a reality check, see The International Network Of Cholesterol Skeptics.

Not a damned thing in the communication about determining the underlying cause of the higher numbers, which sometimes reflects something happening for the body's protection, minimal and largely useless preprinted boilerplate on diet, not a hint that patients are anything more than a conglomeration of laboratory numbers. Just the same-old hard sell: "I am God, you are my slave, here are your marching orders, take drugs".
