Euphemisms, Thy Name Is ABC
My email to ABC News, in response to their "Breaking News":
But if it were the terrorists on the other side, you wouldn't use euphemisms like "Has Approved Widening Ground Offensive", would you? You'd probably--and accurately--use language like, "Vows More Terrorist Attacks On Innocent Civilians". Why, then, does Israel get a pass for doing the same thing?
