I ask myself ...
I'd like to see Americans put Christ back in Christmas. Oh, let's put him back in Christianity, too!
The T-shirt, bumper-sticker, right-wing slogan, "WWJD" (What Would Jesus Do?) was short lived. That's because it made people think, a rare activity these days what with the excitement of "American Idol" and the World Cup draining our brains and absorbing our energies.
Personally, I think it's a valid question. I try daily to ask myself: Would Jesus walk where I am walking? Would Jesus hate the people I hate? Would Jesus kill who I am killing? Would Jesus shop at Wal-Mart?
