Brain Cancer For Money
To mark its expansion into north-central Kansas, officials with U.S. Cellular on Thursday presented a $5,000 check to Child Abuse Prevention Services, Salina.
The money will be used for the organization's Child Advocacy Center, Chris' Place.
Carolee Jones, director of CAPS, said she was "thrilled" by the unexpected gift. She said money will be used to upgrade equipment in the room where abused children are interviewed.

Maybe for an encore they could take money from sellers of crack? Would CAPS be equally "thrilled" at a donation from another consortium that likewise profits from the pain of children and other living creatures?

How about an educational grant that discourages the use of cell phones because they cause brain cancer and other irreparable problems?
