Two suspected of growing pot plants
Two people were arrested Wednesday after officers with the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force found evidence of a possible marijuana-growing operation in their basement...
Acting on a tip, officers found a wooden box containing a humidifier, grow light, insulation, a tray containing potting soil and fertilizer, and a grow chart with watering dates and times, according to Lt. Mike Sweeney, task force commander.
Sweeney said officers also found a plastic container containing marijuana stems and seeds, along with evidence that marijuana plants recently had been pulled from the tray.
A small amount of marijuana and a pipe were found in a bedroom, Sweeney said.
