From The Salina [Kansas] Journal's anonymous Extension 333 call-in line, October 3, 2006:
"I wonder if I'm the only parent in USD 305 that is sick and tired of their kids being turned into miniature merchants. Every time I turn around they're having to sell something else to raise money for the school. I send them to school to learn, not to be street peddlers."
