Why Horrific Things Happen To Innocents
Another horrific story from the wire service, with the usual lack of investigative reporting--primarily alot of gory details. The short of it is, a young mother has been Charged with torturing her 8-year-old son, and with killing him.
Two things I would like to see are the mother's medical records going back ten years, and her prescription drug records.
Let us never forget Andrea Yates.
And we live in a country where nearly nine billion--yes, BILLION--sentient lives were taken in the year 2000 alone because they taste good.
The "Social Workers", as usual, did a miserable job, filling out the paperwork, going through the motions, and hoping nothing happened, rather than doing what they were supposed to be doing.
The cops and newspapers are doing the usual hand-wringing over how such a horrible thing could have happened.
