"Experiment" On Thyself

There are numerous articles hitting the newspapers about "experiments" done on monkeys to study the 1918 flu epidemic. An example of such an article appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle.

My letter, to the Chronicle, and some other newspapers:

Dear Editor,

Once again in the name of "science", monkeys have been enslaved, tortured and killed, as part of a "study" of the 1918 flu virus. These actions are termed "controversial", not because of the horrors inflicted upon extremely intelligent sentient beings, but because of the possibility that the virus could have escaped into the society that condones such barbarism.

I would suggest that the next time an "experiment" is undertaken, that those experimented upon consist of "scientists" and cold-blooded newspaper reporters and editors who see no problem with such sick behavior.

Sincerely,

Terry L. Clark
