Pet Food Recall - What TO Use
My attitude since this whole nightmare started has been to no longer use any pet food from a company that used anything from Menu Foods. If they weren't interested in quality products before, there's no reason to think that's going to change in the future. So, for example, if any of a company's wet food has been Recalled, I won't be buying their dry food either.
Finally, lists are starting to come out as to what companies do not use any product from Menu Foods. Remember to check this from time-to-time, as some of the information is from manufacturers, which may be suspect in some cases. I like this list in particular because it has an active group of participants:

This list is also really good, because it often mentions companies that use products from Diamond. What's wrong with Diamond? I Posted the following comment at the above site:
Diamond...as in the same Diamond whose foods were Recalled in December, 2005, due to Aflatoxin?

(For those who say the best way is to prepare completely organic meals for our furfriends: I completely agree. Come on over. The kitchen is yours to start making those meals).
