Bu$h's Latest Stiff One

A Firm Bush Tells Congress Not to Dictate War Policy

President Bush struck an aggressive new tone on Thursday in his clash with Congress over Iraq, telling lawmakers they had no business trying to manage the war, portraying the conflict as a showdown with Al Qaeda and warning that moving toward withdrawal now would risk “mass killings on a horrific scale.”

Of course he's "Firm". He's getting ready to screw the American people, particularly American soldiers, as well as Iraqi civilians, even more.

"Firm" also suggests "decisive". Yes, we Americans like "decisive". Better that than an accurate headline stating, "Bush To Congress: Sit Down & Shut Up".

And we're supposed to eat up that DerBu$hler is "agressive". Yes, we Americans have been conditioned to be passive, to take whatever manure the strongman shovels us. Too bad the NYT lacks the honesty to point out that Bu$h not merely "aggressive", but rather is engaged in aggression on an outrageous scale, on the people of Iraqi as well as on the U.S. Constitution.
