Driving While Cell Phoning (Continued)

The city’s Traffic Safety Commission on Monday narrowly rejected a proposed cell phone ban that would have been the stiffest in the country because it would be the first to ban both hand-held and hands-free devices.

Now it will be up to city commissioners to pass judgment. The Traffic Safety Commission’s action served only as a recommendation.

Let us hope the City Commissioners read the paper and have a clue.

If they decline to pass a ban, maybe they could get rid of all those meddlesome DWI laws for an encore?
