Humboldt Co Supervisor: The Contest We Won't Have

Richard Marks, the working class candidate for Humboldt County Fourth District Supervisor, came in Third on June 6th, giving (M)(B)illionaire Rob Arkley’s pet Nancy Flemming a close call with hardly any campaign budget compared to Flemming and winner Bonnie Neely. Flemming got almost 31%, while Marks got almost 25%. Neely got 44%.

Had Marks beaten Flemming and then faced Neely in the general election…wouldn't it have been great to see the two candidates debating what the Supervisors can do to best serve the people of Humboldt County, rather than debate whether the role of the Supervisors is to serve the wishes and interests of Rob Arkley?
