More Screwing Of Vets By The VA

As if wasn’t bad enough that the VA has, deliberately or through complete incompetence, allowed personal information on veterans to be released to those who would do those veterans financial or other harm, the VA has attacked those it is supposed to be serving in another way: Giving their information away, illegally, to the IRS! And it gets worse:


However, the VA-IRS matching may have much more to do with requirement #5: verification of data matches before reducing, denying, suspending, or terminating a veteran's benefits. There is also the likelihood that the VA-IRS data matching is being conducted as part of a wider program to tax veterans' medical and other benefits.
