Letter to the editor, San Francisco Chronicle, March 14, 2007, by Webb Johnson:
'Immoral acts'
Editor -- Marine Gen. Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as quoted in the March 13 Digest, said, "I believe homosexual acts between two individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts."
He did not mention the 70,000-plus civilians, mostly women and children, who have been killed as a result of the U.S. invasion and military occupation of Iraq, or the millions more who have fled their country in terror for their lives.
If we stop condoning immoral acts, people such as Pace will be out of work. Hasten the day.
