My letter to The Salina Journal:

Dear Editor:

How sad that a person convicted of possession of marijuana, a pain reliever that one can grow without the involvement of the pharmaceutical drug cartel, will spend more than four years in prison.

Had he become a pharmacist and sold Oxycontin, a toxic "legal" drug that rots the body from the inside out, http://www.oxyabusekills.com/, he would be a "respectable businessman" still raking in immense profits, http://tinyurl.com/ys8823.
