Pretending To Combat Drugs
Congressman Jerry Moran Wednesday announced success in restoring funding to a grant program that provides Kansas drug and law enforcement officers with the resources and technologies needed to combat meth.

Does this mean the law enforcement officers are going to stake out drugstores and watch for people who purchase cold remedies containing pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient that BigPharma also profits handsomely on? Heaven forbid, never ever, that would interfere with the constant flow of bribes, er, "campaign contributions".
No, they'll just destroy more lives by tossing them into the slammer. And more "donations" will flow from the prison-industrial complex into the waiting hands of members of Congress.
