HELLary Clinton's Monstrous Threat

Tough guy Hillary Clinton, on the morning of a critical primary vote in Pennsylvania, uttered a monstrous threat, saying on ABC's "Good Morning America program today that if Iran were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel while she was president, "we would be able to totally obliterate them."

Think about that a moment! A country that we view as a theocracy, run dictatorially by a bunch of self-appointed religious fanatics, whose rule is enforced by an army of equally fanatic quasi-military thugs and enforcers, launches an attack on America's ally Israel, and Clinton says her response would be to incinerate the people of that country--people who are as powerless to stop such an attack as would be the people of Israel or the United States.

[I]s the appropriate response the slaughter of tens of millions of innocent Iranian citizens?

[K]illing the country's people, who are civilians and have no say over such things, is pathological.

Cell Phones: How To Buy Your Way Out Of Responsibility For Brain Cancer

U.S. Cellular Donates $20,000 to Local Child Abuse Prevention Agencies
CAPS in Salina and Hope Unlimited in Iola to get grants

A local wireless communication company's donation will benefit a Salina organization that provides services for child victims of sexual or physical abuse.

To help raise awareness during National Child Abuse Prevention Month, U.S. Cellular is donating $5,000 to Child Advocacy and Parenting Services in Salina. Child Advocacy and Parenting Services, or CAPS, provides family mentoring and social work case management services for at-risk families and children.

The company is also donating $15,000 and free wireless phones and service to Hope Unlimited in Iola. The donations will support prevention services and programs that benefit area families in need.

Hey, great! We've got an industry that spends boocoo bucks marketing an unnecessary product to children, which spends lots of money on advertising thus making the corporate media happy, and the corporate media in gratitude keeps largely silent on the cancer many of those cell phone using children will experience as they grow older.

Why do agencies supposedly looking out for children take money from companies that harm children?

Top 3 Things You Won't Hear About On Keith Olbermann's "Countdown"

1. The pharmaceutical drug cartel. But then, most of the show's advertisers are pharmaceutical companies. I guess if you have to sell your soul, you sell out to a devil with lots of money.

2. Stolen/rigged elections. Diebold is our friend. Silence on the strong trend of Obama winning in caucus states while HELLary wins in states where voting machines are used. Today's Pennsylvania Primary is presented as if it's a genuine election, yet the evidence is substantial that the machines will call the shots.

3. Halliburton concentration camps, other moves toward the imposition of martial law. Instead we get Olbermann's cheery declaration at the end of each show on the number of days until the 2008 (s)election.

Heart exam, EKG recommended before children get ADHD drugs

Children should be screened for heart problems with an electrocardiogram before getting drugs like Ritalin to treat hyperactivity and attention-deficit disorder, the American Heart Association recommended Monday.

Stimulant drugs can increase blood pressure and heart rate. For most children, that isn't a problem. But in those with heart conditions, it could make them more vulnerable to sudden cardiac arrest — an erratic heartbeat that causes the heart to stop pumping blood through the body — and other heart problems.

Duh, you would think that would be a clue that maybe those toxins shouldn't be given to our children. But nooooooooooo, the Pharmaceutical Drug Cartel rules!

And if the child *doesn't* have a heart problem--the damage these drugs do will set that child up for cardiac damage that manifests itself many years later, giving the Pharmaceutical Drug Cartel plenty of other arguable things to point the finger at and slime their way out of responsibility once again.

ALTERNATIVE MEDIA CENSORSHIP: SPONSORED BY CIA's FORD FOUNDATION?
by Bob Feldman

THE NATION INSTITUTE / RADIO NATION / THE NATION MAGAZINE

The Nation Institute's RADIO NATION show is a promotional/advertising tool for a liberal-left establishment magazine, THE NATION, that generally tends to be a Democratic Party-oriented publication. Neither the magazine nor its radio tie-in show that is aired on Pacifica radio stations and many college radio stations may be eager to encourage much discussion about the historic relationship between foundations and the CIA or about the evidence of a 9/11 conspiracy which grassroots journalists and researchers have discovered. Yet in a 1996 interview with former BOSTON PHOENIX media critic Dan Kennedy, NATION editor Katrina vanden Heuvel claimed that "We have a monopoly on weekly progressive journalism in this country." But are RADIO NATION listeners and readers of THE NATION magazine actually being provided with authentically progressive anti-war, anti-corporate and anti-establishment journalism each week by THE NATION editor?

The *Real* Threat To Iraq

Bush Admin: Iran Poses “Primary Threat” to Iraq

The Bush administration has escalated its rhetoric against Iran. This weekend senior US officials told the Washington Post that Iran now poses the primary threat to Iraq. The officials said Iran has increased its support for Shia militias battling US and Iraqi troops. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has previously ridiculed US allegations of Iranian interference in Iraq, saying it’s the US that invaded and continues to occupy the country.
