Merely

"If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day."
-E.B. White

Emphasis

"But spending your life concentrating on death is like watching a whole movie and thinking only about the credits that are going to roll at the end. It’s a mistake of emphasis."
-Nicholson Baker,
"The Anthologist"

Dogma II

"...when dogma enters the brain, all intellectual activity ceases."
-Robert Anton Wilson,
"Cosmic Trigger Volume I: Final Secret Of The Illuminati"

Inevitable

KIRK: You're a man of integrity in both universes, Mister Spock.

MIRROR SPOCK: You must return to your universe. I must have my captain back. I shall operate the transporter. You have two minutes and ten seconds.

KIRK: In that time I have something to say. How long before the Halkan prediction of galactic revolt is realised?

MIRROR SPOCK: Approximately two hundred and forty years.

KIRK: The inevitable outcome?

MIRROR SPOCK: The Empire shall be overthrown, of course.

KIRK: The illogic of waste, Mister Spock. The waste of lives, potential, resources, time. I submit to you that your Empire is illogical because it cannot endure. I submit that you are illogical to be a willing part of it.

MIRROR SPOCK: You have one minute and twenty three seconds.

KIRK: If change is inevitable, predictable, beneficial, doesn't logic demand that you be a part of it?

MIRROR SPOCK: One man cannot summon the future.

KIRK: But one man can change the present. Be the captain of this Enterprise, Mister Spock. Find a logical reason for sparing the Halkans and make it stick. Push till it gives.

Through II

(Keep on believing and you'll discover baby)
There's always something magic
There's always something new
And when you really really need it the most
That's when rock and roll dreams come true

The beat is yours forever, the beat is always true
And when you really really need it the most
That's when rock and roll dreams come true for you

Incentive

"Nansen had moreover introduced a startling new concept into Polar exploration. He had deliberately cut off his lines of retreat. His route was from the desolate east coast to the inhabited west. This was not bravado, but calculated exploitation of the instinct of self-preservation. It drove him on; there was no incentive to look back."
-Roland Huntford,
"The Last Place on Earth: Scott and Amundsen's Race to the South Pole"

Resemble

"There is, of course, no reason why the new totalitarians should resemble the old. Government by clubs and firing squads, by artificial famine, mass imprisonment and mass deportation, is not merely inhumane (nobody cares much about that nowadays); it is demonstrably inefficient and in an age of advanced technology, inefficiency is the sin against the Holy Ghost."
-Aldous Huxley,
"Brave New World"

Exceptions

"You know, in a way I wish I hadn’t met you two. It’s much more convenient to think of the opposition as a nice homogeneous, dead-wrong mass. Now I've got to muddy my thinking with exceptions."
-Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.,
"Player Piano" (1952)

Foundation II

"Fear is the foundation of most governments; but it is so sordid and brutal a passion, and renders men in whose breasts it predominates so stupid and miserable, that Americans will not be likely to approve of any political institution which is founded on it."
-John Adams,
Letter to George Wythe (April 1776)

"Ah, well, I'm not sure I believe that."

Webpage might be temporarily down or it may have moved [Fix]

I have been repeatedly getting that message recently with Opera, which has substantial overlap with Google Chrome. And only with Gmail.

Webpage might be temporarily down or it may have moved [Fix]

I don't know if this will fix the problem permanently, but the article's first suggestion, "Disable Experimental QUIC Protocol", worked. Just substitute "opera" for "chrome" if you're using Opera.

I've not had the problem at all with Mozilla Firefox.

Gun/Population Control

If we had a real mass media in this country that served the masses, that media would have already answered the following questions:

Did mass shootings dramatically decline under President Trump?

Or did such tragedies also occur under President Trump in comparable numbers? But that under President Trump, they weren't being hyped 24/7 as pretexts for population control, a/k/a "gun control", since President Trump wasn't about to deprive the rights of all due to the actions of an extremely few?

Trained II

"I hated every minute of it. But I said to myself, 'Suffer now, and live the rest of your life as a champion'."

Dreary

"Few institutions are considered so universally to have failed as our schools, yet in spite of this dreary record a prescription of increased dosage is making its way to the national agenda. The specifics of this proposal: a) Schools should be open year-round, avoiding long summer holidays for children. b) Schools should extend from 9 to 5, not dismissing students in mid-afternoon as is currently the case. c) Schools should provide recreation, evening meals, and a variety of family services so that working-class parents will be free of the 'burden' of their own children. The bottom line of these proposals is reduction of the damaging effects of 'freedom' and 'family' on a subject population."
-John Taylor Gatto,
"The Exhausted School: Bending The Bars Of Traditional Education"

Forwards

"Life can only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards."
-Bessie Coleman

Domination

"Our overriding purpose, from the beginning right through to the present day, has been world domination--that is, to build and maintain the capacity to coerce everybody else on the planet: nonviolently, if possible; and violently, if necessary. But the purpose of our foreign policy of domination is not just to make the rest of the world jump through hoops; the purpose is to facilitate our exploitation of resources. And insofar as any people or states get in the way of our domination, they must be eliminated--or, at the very least, shown the error of their ways."

Reincarnated 1.5

"I just wonder what it would be like to be reincarnated in an animal whose species had been so reduced in numbers than it was in danger of extinction. What would be its feelings toward the human species whose population explosion had denied it somewhere to exist...I must confess that I am tempted to ask for reincarnation as a particularly deadly virus, but that is perhaps going too far."
-Prince Philip (June 10, 1921 - April 9, 2021),
foreword to a 1986 book titled "People As Animals" by Fleur Cowles

Rights III

"I believe in an America where the rights that I have described are enjoyed by all, regardless of their race or their creed or their national origin--where every citizen is free to think and speak as he pleases and write and worship as he pleases--and where every citizen is free to vote as he pleases, without instructions from anyone, his employer, the union leader or his clergyman."
-John F. Kennedy,
Speech at Convention Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (October 31, 1960)

Disempowerment II

"One of our people in the Native community said the difference between white people and Indians is that Indian people know they are oppressed but don’t feel powerless. White people don’t feel oppressed, but feel powerless. Deconstruct that disempowerment. Part of the mythology that they’ve been teaching you is that you have no power. Power is not brute force and money; power is in your spirit. Power is in your soul. It is what your ancestors, your old people gave you. Power is in the earth; it is in your relationship to the earth."

Google Voice Couldn't Place Your Call

If you use Google Voice and have been getting error messages to the effect that the call can't go through, eg "google voice couldn't place your call to..." or a cryptic (and useless) notice that your call might not go through due to your internet settings, this may work for you:

Change the setting of "Use a proxy server" to OFF

I've previously noticed for awhile that having "Proxy Server" set to OFF improves internet speed and connectivity.  So it crossed my mind in attempting to troubleshoot the problem that that was worth checking.  Especially for reasons not yet determined, my system, without any intervention on my part,  occasionally switches that setting back to ON.

A whole separate question that I don't have the time or inclination to get into is, whether one might want to use a Proxy Server--whether the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

With Windows 10, you can, under "Type here to search", simply type in Proxy Settings, hit the Enter key, and you're there.

If you're running an earlier version of Windows, a different Operating System, or if the above doesn't otherwise work for you, a simple Google or DuckDuckGo search should lead you to the answer of how to change your Proxy Settings.

Will the above work for everyone? I have no idea. I did multiple internet searches, and only found frustrated users of Google Voice who were not finding or getting any answers that worked for them.

No Return To Normal For You!

Another load of manure from Generalissimo Newsom. And by the corporate media through its highly misleading headline, and failure to give any accurate context or perspective in its article--tho to their credit, the Sacramento Bee at least presents enough factoids where the intelligent reader can easily conclude the headline is bunk:

California plans to fully reopen economy in June, aiming to end 15-month COVID restrictions

The headline is almost John Lennonesque, "War Is Over". Many will just look at the headline, "California plans to fully reopen economy in June, aiming to end 15-month COVID restrictions", and not wade through the article.

From the article:
-"Californians will still need to wear masks..."

and get a load of this:
-"The state will continue contact tracing and testing to detect cases early and contain spread of the virus."

Contact Tracing = Total Information Awareness, a topic I covered back on April 26, 2020,

which I have now Posted to my Blog in case the FB Page is taken down:

The facts that the tests are deeply flawed, don't show anything important, and that CV1984 still hasn't been proven to do anything, are of course ignored.

Not a word in the article about Social Isolation, er, "Social Distancing", which suggests that it isn't going away either.

Show Me Your Papers? That's coming, but for now businesses will be blamed:
"The state is not currently planning on so-called vaccine passports, Ghaly said, but business are already exploring how to ensure people who are vaccinated can participate in gatherings and events."

The key words being, "not currently planning", which accurately translated means, "not currently admitting the planning".

Child abuse will continue:
-"Masks will still be required at schools for the foreseeable future, he said."

Yeah, let's continue to deprive those young developing brains of proper oxygen for 6 - 7 hours a day, more if the student has to take a bus.

Of course the article is filled with "qualifiers", making clear that any "lifting" is very temporary and illusory, with the next wave of medical martial law soon to come under the guise of, "the bug mutated", "not enough people got vaxxed", "deaths are up", and all the rest of the lies that got us to this place. Why change the script when so much of the audience is swallowing it whole?

The First Amendment guarantees Freedom Of Association, a Freedom not contingent upon your being grilled by government thugs. Or watched 24/7/365 by cameras, your own phone, by snitches, and in many other ways.

What happens if you don't give up names when interrogated? Or sign the "contract"? Or refuse to agree to turn over your cell phone data and have your phones "monitored"? Who does your shopping and pays for your food/living expenses when you're under house arrest ("quarantine")? What happens when you refuse their poison " treatment"?

Many states fall short of mandate to track virus exposure

If the government gave a flying rat's rectum about your health, GMOs would be banned, along with 5G and almost all (perhaps all) "vaccines". The FDA would be protecting us from toxic drugs and promoting natural *cures*. Billygoat Gates would be at Gitmo for Crimes Against Humanity, along with many officers/directors/employees of drug companies.

Gaslighting Those Reluctant To Return To The Job Site

A long predictable article from Nobody But Clinton (NBC).

Office buildings are opening back up. Not all employees want to return

As is often the case, it's what is NOT written/said that is as important, sometimes much more so, as what is.

Here it's the wearing of face diapers.

Working from home, one can inhale unlimited and HEALTHY amounts of oxygen.

Not the case when wearing a face diaper. Indeed, a multitude of health problems flow from lack of proper oxygen. Feeling dizzy, coming close to fainting if a face diaper is worn too long, is just the beginning.

Of course the magpie media has been gaslighting the public into not believing what they are experiencing firsthand.

Here we have NBC gaslighting by crucial omission. Par for the course.

Plain Sight

I was watching a documentary on alligators living under the streets of New York City and elsewhere. Despite disease, noxious and toxic gasses, and other horrible living conditions, they live and thrive.

Why?

1) They don't wear face diapers;
2) They don't socially isolate; and
3) They're not injected with poisons

IT'S BEEN IN PLAIN SIGHT ALL ALONG!
